“GREEDY PIG was put together in southern Lapland in the mid 80’s. The band´s musical interests, style and attitude were obvious from the very beginning; to play raw, uncompromising southern style boogie rock´n´roll with nasty harmonica and bottleneck guitar.

After a few singles (87-89) Greedy Pig released the debut album Rye Rye Man. Songs like “Drinkin bad water”, “Ain´t no substitute” and “Sweet little darlin´” got good airplay and made the band a name in R&B and Rock´n´Roll circles.

The second album Junkfood got good airplay too and rock tunes like “Livin on junkfood”, “Medicine man”, “Mule called America” were songs that were most popular among the fans.”
